Their value-added engagements include, but are not limited to:

—Business process reviews;
—System pre- and post- implementation reviews;
—Internal investigations and fraud reviews;
—3rd party contract reviews;
—Sharing “best practice” ideas among the various functions/businesses;
—Coordinating and performing due diligence activities; and Various financial/operational performance analyses.

They are specifically looking for a candidate that has a strong IT background with audit/internal controls experience. They are seeking a full time ambassador and champion of their purpose by demonstrating support and actively communicating within the team and across the business.

Primary Responsibilities:

***As the Staff IT Auditor on engagements, responsibilities will include:  Participating in  IT, Security, Change Management and Pre/Post Implementation audits;
***Performing risk assessments;
***Retrieving and analyzing financial and/or operational data to assess the adequacy/effectiveness/efficiency of business processes and to identify trends and root causes of business issues.
***Making observations for improvement and providing meaningful insights.
***Collaborating with the business to drive actions that really matter and are specific, measurable, and realistic.
***Participate in the development of new audit processes and ongoing process improvements, including leveraging technology to gain efficiencies and maximize audit scopes.
***Provide progressive and creative input that will drive greater efficiency and add value to the audit process.Establish and maintain excellent relationships within the team and across the business.
***Proactively seek feedback from the business to understand the concerns and challenges they face and continually refine our process to meet those needs.
***Develop personal training plans to remain current on industry trends, technical pronouncements, etc.
***Report directly to a Manager or Assistant Manager on assigned engagements and administratively to a Senior Manager or Manager in the department.
Minimum Requirements:
***Bachelor of Science or Arts undergraduate degree required.
***Minimum 1 years of experience in an IT capacity, in some combination of internal audit, cyber security, or a business IT role required.
***Exceptional written and verbal communications skills that demonstrate an ability to speak the language of the business not just ‘audit speak’.
***Strong analytical skills and ability to focus on what really matters.
***Strong background with analytical tools
***Proven ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
***Demonstrated leadership skills as shown in the ability to positively influence others and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
***High standard of ethics and professionalism.

The following experiences/skills are a plus:
***CISA, CISP, CPA, CIA, CFE, or other professional certifications.
***Banking, Financial Institution, Dealer/Broker experience
***Current working knowledge of cyber security.
***Prior experience performing fraud reviews and knowledge of forensic processes and techniques.
