Senior IT Auditor – $80-95K Plus Bonus

Our Fortune 500 Client in Denver, Colorado is currently seeking a Senior IT Auditor! The Senior position will partner with various levels of management in reviewing key IT processes and controls across multiple operating companies in order to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiencies by identifying and leveraging best practices.  Given the complexities of the IT processes across the operating companies, the Senior must be able to analyze areas creatively, successfully balance multiple priorities, and demonstrate strong analytical skills when identifying / remediating complex IT issues.  Further, the Senior will be expected to have strong project management skills coupled with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.  Assignments will be varied and shifting of priorities to meet business demands of the company should be expected.

Essential Functions:

  • Assisting and / or leading the planning and execution of IT process and system audits across multiple operating companies
  • Interfacing with management to develop an understanding of key business objectives and associated risks
  • Identifying and developing meaningful analyses to effectively evaluate processes and efficiencies across multiple operating companies
  • Communicating results of analyses to all levels of management
  • Partnering with management to develop appropriate solutions for opportunities identified
  • Developing and delivering informative, well-organized executive-level PowerPoint presentations
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree for Computer Science, Management Information Systems and/or Accounting is required
  • CISA, CPA, or other IT certifications preferred
  • 2.5-5 years’ experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze complex problems in order to identify common themes and solutions
  • Inquisitive nature, resourceful, and an ability to seek out information
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to communicate information to various levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to completion and coordinate action plans
  • Self-disciplined and able to meet demanding timelines
  • Personal initiative and enthusiasm for success in a complex and challenging environment
  • Knowledge of information systems security and controls for information technologies such as LAN, Client/Server, Mainframe, UNIX, Wintel, Oracle, SQL Server and networks is desirable
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Ability to travel (up to 15%)
